Troop Stacking Calculator

This is a very simple, very opinionated stacking calculator. It is designed to give you a quick estimate of the number of troops to bring.

It returns easy to remember numbers, at the cost of not sending the maximum number of troops possible.

The calculator assumes that all your troops have the same bonuses. It also assumes that specialists will be slightly weaker than guards (this is the case for most players given the order in which things are researched).

For this reason you should be careful if you are using a captain that provides a bonus to a specific type of troop (ex. Wu Zetian), or if you are carrying artifacts that give bonuses to certain troop types. For these cases you should use the Advanced Version, taking care to configure it with the correct bonuses.
